2019 Winter Carnival – January

2019 Alton Old Home Day – August
Jessica Rothwell, Owner of Bella Winni Salon, Angela Scire, Owner of Alton Veterinary Clinic, and Sam Hollo, Pastor of Community Church of Alton all acted as judges for the float contest. Sponsorships from local businesses helped to make this year’s parade a reality. The Alton Business Association noted their Gold Level Sponsors as Catchpenny, Lakeside Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, and Auto wash Alton LLC. Their Silver Level sponsors included Alton Dance Academy & Jp China. 2019 Harvest Happenings – October
Alton Parks and Recreation worked along side us to plan our first annual Harvest Happenings. Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice of Alton, Lakes Region Tax Services, Lakeside Dental, Maxfield Real Estate, PinPoint Local, George & Joyce Murphy, Catchpenny, and so many more community members worked together to make our first annual Harvest Happenings possible.
2019 Light Up Night & Festival of Trees – December
We already have Festival of Tree entries from the Alton Dance Academy, Catchpenny, Inspiration for Organization, George & Joyce Murphy, Land & Lakes Property Management, and Title Pro, LLC. Our community has pooled together over $1,000 to replace the lights on the tree at Ginny Douglas Park, and Aubuchon Hardware has donated a significant amount of lighting to the cause as well.
As we finish up with our 2019 calendar of events, we’re even more excited to plan out 2020 knowing that we have such a wonderful community to support!
