Thank you so much for joining us to celebrate all the hard work and dedication from our ABA Members, Sponsors & Citizens of Alton.  This year was a year of massive growth for the ABA! We ignited many new initiatives and tools to aid us in our growth and added services to our members; to include a new website, newsletter, adding a dedicated social media Director, joining Instagram, art contest design & production for our own ABA “hat” and much more!  We are also very proud to announce that we’ve provided over $2000 in donations to Alton Community Services, Greater Lakes Region Child Advocacy Center, Harlem Wizards Fundraiser for Tanner Brennan and the Mrs. Santa Fund!   We are dedicated to promoting community involvement & economic growth in our town and surrounding areas!

As you’ve probably noticed we added a few community events this year to include; The Cardboard Regatta (which supported the Alton Water Bandstand Committee Celebration), a booth in the Alton Rotary Home Show, tent at the Old Home Day Block Party, co-hosted a Harlem Wizards Fundraiser with Alton Police Association, 1st Annual Alton Harvest Happenings, successful fundraiser for the “Great Pumpkin” (which was display at Monument Square), Seasonal Business Decorating Contests, 1st Annual Festival of Trees & Gingerbread House Contest and a very successful fundraiser for new tree lights for “Light Up Night”! Phew…. We did all that while sustaining our historical traditions of the Alton Winter Carnival (our largest & most successful fundraiser of the year, so get ready for 2020), Ice-Out Contest, Quarterly “Meet & Mingle” Events, Old Home Day Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony for Light Up Night!

We are truly grateful for all our members, sponsors and community support!! Without you, the ABA would cease to exist and prosper!  Please keep on doing what you’re doing and remember to be local, buy local and support local!

We are eager to see what 2020 holds and intend to maintain our momentum to do great things for our businesses & community! We hope to see you at our monthly meetings, community events, social media engagements and more!

Thank you for all you do for our community!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Happy New Year to you & your families!
