Online Member Directory with Map: Gain visibility through our searchable member directory, which includes a detailed map, business description, photos, and links to your website or social media.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies: Celebrate your grand openings or major milestones with a personalized ribbon-cutting ceremony! We promote your event with a press release, share on social media, and encourage community engagement both in-person and online.
Social Media Promotion: We share your events, sales, and important updates on our Facebook page to extend your reach and increase community involvement.
Event Sharing: ABA shares major events with Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, Central NH Chamber of Commerce, NH Lakes Region Tourism organizations to strengthen event visibility in the lakes region.
Member of the Month Spotlight: Each month, one member gets featured as the “Member of the Month,” including: An opportunity to speak at our Meet & Mingle event, a dedicated social media write-up with photo or logo, a press release in The Baysider newspaper, and a featured spotlight on our website.
Annual Member Booklet: *NEW* In 2025, we’re launching an ABA Member Booklet! It will feature every member with a half-page write-up and logo or photo. Distributed at key locations like the post office, town hall, Airbnbs, campgrounds, and around the Lakes Region, this booklet will showcase what makes Alton and its businesses unique.
Online Resource Library: *NEW* We’re building a library of blogs and resources for members, including topics like marketing, social media best practices, and event promotion.

If you own a business in Alton or the surrounding towns, the communities are already giving back to you. Business ownership is a two way street. It is time to give back to the community. In doing so, it will make Alton a more desirable place to live, work and visit. Hence – more customers for your business. You can have a direct involvement in community growth, while protecting the culture and heritage of the Alton area. Your business will be included in any publicity (if so agreed upon) and will be included in any events which are sponsored by the ABA.

Without the support of local businesses, the ABA sponsored events and donations would cease to exist. All of our volunteer members have families and other jobs. They spend many hours away from personal responsibilities to ensure that our mission does not falter. We are all stronger together so help us make a difference in our community!
