While there are many, many ways for your business to be found (word of mouth, radio, tv, print, flyers, etc) there is one thing that will most likely happen once someone learns about what you offer. They are going to pick up their smartphone or laptop and search for your business.
Having a good website is crucially important because your website is often the first impression you give potential customers. Whether they found your business by doing a search or through a link a friend gave them, your website very well could be your first point of contact with them. Before they even see your store or talk to your staff, they will see your website. You want that first impression to be a good one!
Your storefront, showroom and/or vehicle fleet look good, right? Why do they look good? Because you know customers will see them and form an opinion about your business based on them. Think of your website as your digital storefront and showcase. People are looking at it and are forming an opinion about your business (and if not up-to-par maybe even deciding to go elsewhere!) based on it. You only get one shot at a good first impression so make it count!
