Every month we sit down with one of our amazing ABA members to get to know them a little better! For April, we spoke with Curtiss Stafford from Alton Circle Grocery. We ask each member the same questions, providing an opportunity for our members to highlight the important work that they do in our communities. If you’re an ABA Member and would like to be considered for future Monthly Member Highlights, please reach out to us via email at info@altonbusinessassociation.com

Owner: Genevieve Michaud
Q: Tell us about your business
A: Food Truck and soon to be cafe. Our food truck serves organic ice cream, house-made pastries and local & nitro coffee. We are currently collaborating with River Run Deli but will be opening our own cafe in the fall located right on route 28 next to camp Mi-Ti-Na.
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: I have been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. I love creating food that is simple yet every bite is full of flavor!
Q: How did your business get started?
A: My passion for food is really what drove me to open the food truck. Being able to offer the kind of food I would feed my own family….all natural and organic.
Q: What has your relationship with the Alton Business Association done for you or your business?
A: The ABA has been amazing! They promote my business on social media which has been very helpful especially during this last year.
Q: What do you value most about this community?
A: Alton is a great community to own a business because the community values each business and values the importance of supporting local.
Q: Why did you want to open your business in this community?
A: We live right in Barnstead so it only made sense to open a business in a neighboring community.
Q: What business accomplishment are you most proud of?
A: I am very excited to be branching out into a cafe. With the food truck we are able to bring a special touch to each event, weddings and corporate events are our specialty, but having a cafe will allow us to build our own little oasis where people can come to every day.
Q: What does the future hold for you and your business?
A: As I mentioned branching out into the cafe will be a big milestone. Once we are open we will be able to serve the community in many other ways, I am looking forward to see where it leads us.
Q: What is one piece of advice you wish you had as a new business owner?
A: Know your market, offer the highest quality products that your market can afford and always, always be kind to your customers. Customer service is the key to success in any business.
Q: How can people who want to learn more about you or your business get in touch with you?
