April News

A few words from our ABA Chair, Christy Painchaud

Ok Altonians… Spring has officially arrived and many of our seasonal businesses are reopening their doors and many of our year-round businesses are transitioning to their Spring and Summer hours.  Soooo PLEASE remember to SHOP AND SUPPORT LOCAL before driving out of town or shopping online! Like last month initiative, I’d like to challenge you to SPRING into a LOCAL NEW BUSINESS or RESTAURANT you haven’t visited or hired before. Be sure to snap a picture and share it with us or tag us so we can share your support with our community!

Also did you know our website has a business member directory?  So before you post on Facebook Group Page asking for business suggestions, please visit our business member directory and check our growing member list over over 70 businesses and nonprofit organizations.

We are also in the mist of planning the Old Home Day Parade in August, and are looking for volunteers to serve on that committee and help with planning!  Please email us if you’re interested and stay tuned for more parade participant and sponsor information.

Enjoy the warmer weather, hike a new trail in Alton and be safe to all our boaters out there!!  THANK YOU for being a part of AND supporting the ABA mission!  ~Christy
