S.C.A.R.E. has a mission of collecting new and gently-used costumes that can be distributed to children and families who need a bit of help. We believe that every little ghost and goblin deserves a chance to experience all the magic & mayhem that is Halloween while wearing that perfect costume without parents stressing how they can afford it while trying to put food on the table or keep a roof over their heads.
Halloween goes beyond simply going out for trick-or-treating. It’s an opportunity to let your imagination run wild and let go of those burdens that weigh you down day after day. This is a chance for every child to feel included – to feel like they matter regardless of the family’s financial status. Here is a simple way for each and every one of us to give back to the community instead of tossing out old costumes.
