Description
The Alton Garden Club is dedicated to the beautification of the Town of Alton, NH with a spirit of togetherness. Offering educational programs monthly April through November. Welcoming all with a common interest in horticulture and service to the community.
The object of the Alton Garden Club shall be:
•to stimulate interest in home gardening and horticulture,
•to encourage the protection of our native trees, plants and wildlife, and
•to aid in community planting.
We’re a dedicated group of volunteers who share a passion to keep our town BLOOMING!
We manage the below Beautification Projects in town + so much MORE:•Alton Bay Gardens and Barrels
•Ginny Douglas Park
•Holiday Decorations
•Monument Square Garden
•Bandstand Garden
•Railroad Square Park
•Downing Triangle Garden
•Alton Village Barrels
•Gilman Library Gardens
•Town Hall Gardens (newly planted in the fall of 2024)
